In Ryme City~

Where Man & Pokemon live peacefully together in a community…

[Pokémon Detective Pikachu]~

Wow…I enjoyed watching this!
(To my own surprise? LOL!)

This live-action film is actually interesting & entertaining…& it's pretty well-made…
& here's to point out that we liked what we've just newly learnt about Psyduck too!

… … … … … … … … … … … … … … … … … … … … … … … … … … … … …

Had thought perhaps Lapras would make an appearance in the film…but it did not…
Anyway…a shiny one did make an appearance in my 6th Lapras raid two days ago!

Yes…my 6th Lapras raid!
(Out of 6 Lapras raids!)

Days In The Clouds~

From 17 Dec 2018 to 19 Dec 2018~

Beginning with a 9-hour long journey on a bus that started moving off at 8am…& then a 2-hour long queuing-waiting-troubleshooting process to check into the hotel…

At 7pm we finally managed to successsfully check into our rooms at our hotel…

…in the clouds~

Here's the full view from our room window~

Here's the view with a Swablu in the clouds~ LOL~

We were starving by then & so…dinner~

Followed by another round of queuing…

This time to obtain our official member cards for entry to this…

…which I did not enter & did not spend my $30 worth of free credits in after all…
(Well how was I to know that they are so strict about the footwear of the guests?)

Day 2: More queuing…

This time for the collection of our physical tickets for the concert later~

Lunch @ Burger & Lobster - best meal of the trip!

& a white log cake's perfect for a celebration~ @ Tampopo~

Ohh guess what? Genting is having a Pokemon Festival~ nice!

& the Skytropolis indoor theme park has just opened~

With rides at RM15 per person per ride~

& we went on one kiddy ride for one kiddy cheap thrill…

Pokemon more…more pokemon~

Ohh this was the gift for new members…upon their first spend of RM50~

Dinner @ Canton-i - a supposedly light one~

Attended the concert with performances of oldies mostly in Hokkien…

With our physical tickets collected earlier~

…in a 6000-seater hall that was actually full…

Day 3: Trip's ending already…

Checked out of our hotel~

Had our last meal in Genting~ @ Madam Kwan's~

& then it was time for another 9-hour long bus journey back to Singapore…

With a nice sunset we managed to catch on the ride~

Okay now…although mll is still geographically far away somewhere in India…

Surely a pokemon-filled Christmas awaits us…ahead~

GMC 2018~

There were some challenges that were just plain difficult in this year's GMC~

But after hours of learning (to even be able to play some of the games) + practising + having mll help complete that one challenge I still could not beat after all that trying…

It's a level 5 trophy for me again this year!

Oh yes & the Team Knights won too!

Rock VS Leaf~

Captured this pretty interesting picture/photo (which was perfect for self-amusement) while trying to catch a Regirock (which I did manage to catch too!) this afternoon…

Seriously looking down on a leaf!

The wind was really strong & this large leaf flew by at just the right moment! Nice!

& yeah I know it's so random!

Paths - People - Planes~

Our mid-morning "walk" towards Marina Barrage under the ridiculously hot sun on Saturday had unexpectedly turned out to be a walk towards a sea of people & a sky of planes…with us eventually failing to reach the destination as planned after all…

While thinking about how quiet it is along the way…with little or practically no human traffic to speak of…we suddenly found ourselves staring at what clearly looked like crowds of people…in front…in the distance…when nearing the Marina Barrage…

& at an even further distance…Marina Barrage itself was obviously filled with people!

When we squinted hard enough…

& there were airplanes & helicopters flying in formation in certain sequences above…

So apparently there was an event going on…

…which we looked up on Google that afternoon later~

"The RSAF's Aerial Display at RSAF50@Marina Barrage: The Republic of Singapore Air Force (RSAF) will be conducting an aerial display at the Marina Barrage as part the RSAF50 celebrations to thank Singaporeans for their strong support through the years. Members of the public are encouraged to join in the celebrations at the RSAF@Marina Barrage dressed in blue, representing the skies that the RSAF protects."

Ohh hey…neither of us wore blue on that day…but not that it mattered anyway since we watched only a part of the aerial display at such a far distance away & then before the display ended…we had already turned around & headed back~ LOL~

So yeah…mll's plan for us to recce the route (for a later occasion) turned out to be a timely one…because with this event & the crowds gathered near Marina Barrage…we got to watch a National aerial display live which is really just so rare for me & also ended up walking a shorter overall distance than planned! Nice going RSAF!

I mean come on…I was already sun-burnt! & exhausted…& melting in the heat…

However…that also meant we had to miss out on two-thirds of the Eevee event…
(In order to rest & fill our empty stomachs in the air-conditioned mall & recuperate!)

& then we missed out on two-thirds of the Eevee event Day Two on Sunday also…
Because my leg/thigh muscles hurt & I was averse to walking under the sun again!
(But it's like…unbelievable we still did for an hour…for the sake of shiny Eevees…)

Anyway…I've exercised~ I've definitely exercised! I've exercised a lot…& enough!

Let It Goal~

Watched my first (& last) match of this World Cup season with mll last night~

On our hardly-ever-turned-on TV at home…

Wow that was exciting…
A night filled with goals…

& it's nice to have a detailed personal soccer commentator in the house~ LOL!

… … … … … … … … … … … … … … … … … … … … … … … … … … … … …

Closer to my field of knowledge…this year's Altador Cup was real exciting too~

It's the first time in years we had gotten so close to winning the Champion's title…

…although we ended with a second place finish~

Well it's been a great season for cups & goals!

… … … … … … … … … … … … … … … … … … … … … … … … … … … … …

[Let It Go] - Idina Menzel
Chorus - Actual Version:

Let it go…let it go…
Can't hold it back anymore…
Let it go…let it go…
Turn away and slam the door…
I don't care what they're going to say…
Let the storm rage on…
The cold never bothered me anyway~

My Version:

Let it goal…let it goal…
Don't hold it back anymore…
Let it goal…let it goal…
Find a way and kick the ball…
I don't care how they're going to play…
Let the match go on…
The score never bothered me anyway~
