It's crazy just how much influence this story & its characters & its soundtracks have on my emotions…& crazier how this does not change one bit even after 5 years…

It's clear why I feel that live-action dramas can never match up to manga & anime!

The match against 山王工高 (Sannoh Kougyou) is definitely one of THE MOST intense & gratifying matches to watch in the whole of sports manga history…

It's totally an all-out battle in every aspect of the blood-sweat-tears domain…with all levels of individual character growth & team development hitting maximum…

So overwhelming that my feels are uncontainable!

Seriously can't believe they had not animated this!

What a classic! [Slam Dunk] is veritably a classic!

Went for another round of action among contractors starting from Chapter 1 all over again after realizing that the printed story is so different from the animated version:

Well even though it's just as confusing…I definitely prefer this version of the story…

& it's no more black (or white or yellow or silver or amber for that matter) for me now!

Couldn't help it…had to get to the end of this as soon as possible!

Because…she NEEDS TO (I mean I NEED HER TO) choose one!
One from out of all the eligible musically-inclined gentlemen! LOL!

The original soundtracks are awesome! Perfect as the manga's BGM too…
& the various classical numbers selected for the story are as great as well!
Which is…needless to say…as to be expected of a Classical music anime…

& I'm also happy how 月森 蓮 looks better on the black & white pages!

As for that one major downside of this…which was also to be expected…
Ahh making me miss the cornet…that couldn't be helped as well I guess…

Well it's not like I can play one anytime…or anywhere…
Or like probably even…worse still…anymore…anyway…

Oh no…there goes…a dose of truth…a wave of gloom…

Need to now find me more charming instrumentalists who will mesmerize me…
With more performances so amazing to sweep me away & make me feel better!

Loaded with behavioural studies…cognitive theories & persuasion techniques…
Can tell that the author is pretty knowledgeable in the field of Social Psychology…

Hey why didn't I get to read this story at the time when I was taking that module?

I might have actually done better for it back then!

Had not enjoyed being left with a ton of unanswered questions…so the only next choice of action was to turn to read the actual story…the original unaltered version:

Probed through the pages from the beginning to the end of the story while trying to digest all the discrepancies in both of the printed & animated versions quickly…

But what an adverse effect it had indeed…

Who knew that the original story would leave TWO tons of unanswered questions?!

With both plot & character developments kept interesting yet not turbulent…it's a suitable read for now…

Really like the straight-forward…light-hearted honest feel throughout the story…

The wonders of youth…are nice huh…

The Evolution Is Incomplete!

Just when I thought that I had made it to the end of the story after 3 years…it turned out that the translations have actually stopped at Volume 33…with no sign of 34-36…

Oh noooooooo…I'm stuck! & this is really upsetting…

…especially right after re-watching the entire anime series & continuing ahead by the pages in full swing until this point only to land myself in this predicament…

Argh…made such a bad mistake by not checking on the release-vs-resource gap more carefully…& it's terrible now that my immediate need for the real ending is not going to be satisfied anytime soon…

So this is how I feel now…

The Knight of Vampires~

Had been really scared to finish this off…but I did it!
From Volume 10 Chapter 47 onwards…till the end:

It's been 3 years & due time to face the story's continuation head on…chapter by chapter…page by page…even though it was so scary…with every chapter ahead possibly causing me a great deal of distress…

I mean…all these unexpected developments that I could never imagine on my own…these 360 degree twists and turns in the story cruelly took a serious toil on my weak & severely melted heart…

How does a girl choose between two guys who melt hearts equally?!

Ahh but I must sincerely applaud (& thank) the author for the acceptable finish…
Could not possibly dream of a more splendid end to this story myself that will make up for my battered heart after all its experiences of twirls & swirls…

Really impressed by this amazing story of romance with fictitious guys so ideal…so charming…so cool yet so devoted with such unwavering faithfulness…

& that…is why shoujo manga (少女漫画) is awesome!

Now to re-introduce & re-declare once again…my Vampire Knight:

Zero Kiryu!

Also one of the two most handsome (standing at #1) guys in anime history!

At least it's still the case in my charts…for now!


Piece of the Day: Mystical Night Class - Takefumi Haketa

Reborn Again!

Well seems like there isn't going to be a continuation to the anime series…
So decided to finish the story now…from Volume 30 Chapter 283 to the end:

[家庭教師ヒットマン REBORN!]
a.k.a. [Kateikyoushi Hitman Reborn!]

& that covered the Inheritance Ceremony arc & the Rainbow arc…marking an acceptable-but-can-be-more-ideal closure to the story…

I mean…the outcome concerning the Arcobaleno was still just less than satisfying!

But really liked how the story climaxed towards the end…with the bringing together of every single character existing within this entire series by the main character into one setting in a demonstration of trust…innocence…friendship & strength~

& that…is why shounen manga (少年漫画) is awesome!

Oh & the manga-reading app on Windows 8 that I had downloaded turned out to be pretty decent…it's certainly a step up from having to read from a website…although there's still quite some room for improvement…

By the way…in June earlier I had just learnt that 'Vongola' means 'Clam' in Italian…
