The Case Of Mumps~

It's A Coughing Situation~

With two down with a severe case of the cough…we're all confined at home again…

Okay so there's already the non-stop coughing situation going on in the house…but hey what's with the fresh red dots that have just started appearing in patches?

Remembering how the doctor had cautioned us before: apparently one can get the HFMD again…even barely a month after recovering from it…as in…it's possible…

But is it really now? I mean…that'll be pretty staggering a thing to happen is it not?

A Week With HFMD~

After a long week with HFMD…we're finally stepping out of the front door again…

Hand-foot-and-mouth disease…it is the first for all of us under this roof at least…

They had fever & red dots all over…while I felt sick to my stomach…like literally…

Two days ago it was a random fever that lasted for about 3 hours…
& by the time of appointment to see the doctor…the fever's gone…

Earlier today it was another fever that lasted for about 1-2 hours…

So carefree is the toddler's fever…it's behaving just like a toddler…

& now in this third week of June…it has further evolved into a case of flu for three…

Seriously…I hereby declare the month of June to be the month of flu! & stomach flu!

Father's Day & Father's Night~

It was daddy-son bonding time at night at the A&E…

…after the toddler's second day of fever hovering close to 40 degrees…with two new rounds of throwing up earlier in the day…for today…

…which makes for a day of cleaning up…changing & washing clothes…changing & washing bedsheets…& more cleaning up…no doubt…

The stomach flu has spread in the household after all~
