Legoland for 105cm~

At 107cm…the boy can take practically all the rides already!

So this time we managed to take all the rides!

All the dry ones that is~

So…it's time to introduce roller coasters to the kid right? Of course~

& now we have oee's first roller coaster ride photo…
taken on his 1st real roller coaster ride…

But looks like he really does not like roller coasters very much…lol~

The boy would prefer lego~

Only managed to watch just a few shows again this time…oh well~

Anyway…one year later…we're back at the same hotel~

Back at the same swimming pool at the same hotel~

With a few familiar & a few new food options around the hotel now~

Nice…every trip's a new experience!

The First Camp~

& it's at Shah Alam for the first time…

…for 5D4N~

& we got to play at i-City!
Where the kid had his first experience of fake snow…

…his first game of bowling…

(With balls so small & heavy…I failed to get even a single strike…)
…his first circut car ride…

…& his first ferris wheel ride…

Where It's All Lego~

Didn't think we'd be back here ever but yeah we're back…8 years & a kid later…

At Legoland~

Watched shows…

Went on rides…

& now we have oee's first theme park ride photo…
taken on his 1st theme park ride…
at his 1st theme park…

Lunch was good too~

Had taken a train into JB…

& settled into our hotel the day before~

With all of our meals either ordered in…

Or at some restaurant nearby…

& now we know this hotel has actually got a nice pool!
(Had never even paid attention to it all the years before lol)~

Ended the trip with quite a bit of a rush back…but well at least mll made it for his meeting at 2pm after all (when he's supposed to be on leave for the day anyway…)

The First Trip~

After all those times of reading "一起去旅行"…
"一起去旅行" has finally happened in reality…
To a place new to us all…Penang in Malaysia…
With new & renewed passports post-pandemic…

& with a whole lot of firsts for him at close to 3.5…

First time on a plane…

First time at the beach…

First time playing with sand…

First time to an indoor amusement park…

First time seeing life-sized dinosaurs up close…

First time at the top of a tower…

First time watching a sunset…

From seeing the sun ahead to seeing the moon above…

& then more firsts…but more specifically…firsts in a foreign country…

First time at hotels in a foreign country…

First time at swimming pools in a foreign country…

First time at an aquarium in a foreign country…

First time attending a wedding in a foreign country…

… … … … … … … … … … … … … … … … … … … … … … … … … … … … …

& I must say…we had food simply too awesome to forget…

Food that's so good…

Too awesome…too awesome…

Ohh my last meal there…

Seriously I can't stop thinking about the food!
Especially from that MICHELIN-starred restaurant!

Food For Anni-Time~

But if possible…not on a weekend again in the future?
We had a repeat of the 2.5 hour queue at the customs!

Back to a room where everything about it is extremely familiar to us by now~

Ohh I like how the view from our window allows us to see this side of the road…

…where dinner is~

Dinner is the main event as usual…it's truly what I look forward to over here…

Made a new discovery on this 4th visit: the most delicious fresh fried clams ever!
How did we miss this all past 3 times (over the past 3 years) that we were here?!

It's awesome! I'd recommend it! I'm even already looking to return again for this!

Days In The Clouds~

From 17 Dec 2018 to 19 Dec 2018~

Beginning with a 9-hour long journey on a bus that started moving off at 8am…& then a 2-hour long queuing-waiting-troubleshooting process to check into the hotel…

At 7pm we finally managed to successsfully check into our rooms at our hotel…

…in the clouds~

We were starving by then & so…dinner~

Followed by another round of queuing…

This time to obtain our official member cards for entry to this…

…which I did not enter & did not spend my $30 worth of free credits in after all…
(Well how was I to know that they are so strict about the footwear of the guests?)

Day 2: More queuing…

This time for the collection of our physical tickets for the concert later~

Lunch @ Burger & Lobster - best meal of the trip!

& a white log cake's perfect for a celebration~ @ Tampopo~

Ohh guess what? Genting is having a Pokemon Festival~ nice!

& the Skytropolis indoor theme park has just opened~

With rides at RM15 per person per ride~

& we went on one kiddy ride for one kiddy cheap thrill…

Pokemon more…more pokemon~

Ohh this was the gift for new members…upon their first spend of RM50~

Dinner @ Canton-i - a supposedly light one~

Attended the concert with performances of oldies mostly in Hokkien…

With our physical tickets collected earlier~

…in a 6000-seater hall that was actually full…

Day 3: Trip's ending already…

Checked out of our hotel~

Had our last meal in Genting~ @ Madam Kwan's~

& then it was time for another 9-hour long bus journey back to Singapore…

With a nice sunset we managed to catch on the ride~

Okay now…although mll is still geographically far away somewhere in India…

Surely a pokemon-filled Christmas awaits us…ahead~
