Locally-Fulfilling Fun~

NPCC had a fulfilling day out…without the use of our passports!

Starting with KTV in Katong…

& well…can't possibly leave Katong…
without eating a bowl of laksa first…

(Like maybe a big bowl of it since it's raining anyway…)

& then headed to East Coast Park after the rain!

& we managed to exercise! The four of us! In this!

Yeah in order to fulfil our objective of "exercising"
we chose the most exhaustive mode of transport alright~

Left East Coast Park & strolled past the locally now-famous landmarks in the evening…

& checked out the lights put up for show at the also locally now-famous Gardens By The Bay…

& ended the night with a late dinner at a new place for fried chicken!

So essentially we gained back the calories we lost for the day…

(That is if we had even lost any at all to begin with…)

It has been a fulfilling day of youthful fun!
In a time where age is catching up on us…

Thailand 2013~

Before the month comes to an end…I probably should rewind life for abit to the beginning of the year…okay back to 4 January 2013 to be exact…

On SQ~

2013 had actually started itself well with us back in Thailand after 2 years…

Day 1: Visited the Bang Pa-In Royal Palace (พระราชวังบางปะอิน) in Ayutthaya on the first morning of our trip…

& then spent the rest of the day at The Mall…

(No kidding that's the name of the mall)…

As well as the night market beside it…

& continued to spend the next two days of our 4D3N trip in Northern Bangkok:

Day 2: Attended the wedding we had all been waiting for…

Sweet!

  Day 3:  Took a boat out…

  To the island Koh Kret (เกาะเกร็ด) with the newlyweds…

& explored the island on our rented bikes!

  Admired the sunset along the coast in the evening…

  & headed to a Thai restaurant for dinner~

  Day 4: Found time to visit Central Bangkok for a while…   On a water taxi!

Managed to spend 2+ hours @ Platinum Mall…

& then headed to the airport by train straight after:

  Really enjoyed being welcomed…being with our friends…being well-taken care of…being driven around…being brought to new places…
& not forgetting we had the privilege of enjoying homecooked food every day too!  

  Life is so meaningful with love & friendship!

Thanks to our friends & their families who had hosted us throughout our trip…our short & unplanned getaway had turned out to be really fulfilling!
