& so I started watching it…at 3.10pm today haha~
Presenting…the gist of the story:
One fine day on 15th May…in the Jungle of Nool…this talking elephant by the name of Horton happened to hear voices coming out from a very little white speck of dust~
Okay so this speck of dust was in fact…an absurdly tiny planet on its own…home to a city called Whoville…where a microscopic community of people known as Whos inhabited~
The story basically focused on how this elephant struggled to protect this speck of dust for the sake of its tiny inhabitants from all the other talking animals in the jungle who refused to believe in their existence~
Then on the side of the Whoville…how the Mayor had to convince his people that the world they were living in…was really just a speck of dust compared to the larger universe out there…helping them to be aware of how vulnerable they actually were~
*PAUSE*
& THAT…was what translated into my attraction to the show~

i've always known that we are very tiny in the black world out there, but i didn't realise how tiny... to the extent of being microscopic...
I've always thought our planets, our Sun and all the moons and stars make up a galaxy...
But no... our solar system is only 1 out of the 4-5 arms in our Milky Way galaxy. And there's like 1.5 million galaxies in the observable universe~~~!!!!!!! (note: observable universe)
AND each universe contains like 400 billion (not million) stars~!!!
I'm only 1 out of the 6 billion people on this planet, which is 1 of the 8 planets circling a star out of the 400 billion in the Milky Way galaxy, which is only 1 out of the 1.5 million (discovered for now only) galaxies in the universe~!!!
I just realised my existence in the universe is so teenily tiny man....
just like an atom in relative to the universe!!!

Haha & of course…how pretty Saturn is under the telescope lar~

In a galaxy we call the Milky Way.

And still that's just a fraction of the way.

Filled with constellations, planets, moons and stars.

Which is maybe just inside a little jar!

Though we don't know how it got here
We're an important part here
