It's a Batam weekend trip…with the most unlikely group of 8 in our travel history~
Departure at noon~
On Batam Fast~
& we reached the resort in 1.5 hours~
That's our room right there~
No we didn't swim at all~
But I ate this nice fish for lunch (which I'd eat again the next day)~
No water sports for us at all as well~
But massage & ginger tea were welcome~
& then night arrived~
& it was time for dinner - an expensive BBQ buffet~
Ohh here's the gym I was interested in~
Well we sure walked around the resort~
Had an hour of complimentary KTV that we've won in a draw~
& then had a couple of games at the pool table~
Finished my fish of Day 2 in record time~
& made it in time for the transport back to the ferry terminal~
It has been a laid-back slow-paced weekend~
With nice surprises…new friends…& some fun~

Gained two new Bronze gym badges too~
& now…here is proof we fed mosquitoes all night~
By morning…mll had killed a total of 3 giant ones…
In our room itself…literally hovering around our bed…
